1. Data Collection via Discord

To ensure the proper functioning of Secteur V (account system, matchmaking, and dispute creation), we use third-party authentication via Discord. During your registration and logins, we automatically collect the following data:

• Unique Discord ID: To link your Secteur V account to your Discord account.
• Discord username: Used as your public display name on our leaderboard and during matches.
• Profile picture (Avatar): Displayed on your profile and in the matchmaking arena.
• Email address: Collected for security and communication purposes (you can choose to hide or delete it in your profile settings at any time).
• IP address: Collected (in a hashed and anonymized form) to prevent fraud and smurf accounts.
• Device tracker: A unique (anonymous) identifier stored in a cookie to detect smurfs and protect the integrity of the leaderboard.

2. Use of Data

This data is strictly used for the operation of the site:

• Management of your ranking (ELO points, wins/losses).
• Resolution of disputes via our official Discord bot (invitation to moderation channels).
• Display of match history.

None of your personal data is sold, transferred, or exchanged with third parties for commercial purposes.

3. Right of Withdrawal and Data Deletion (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, and totally delete your data.

You can withdraw and exercise your right to be forgotten at any time. To delete all your data from our servers, simply go to the Profile Settings page and click the delete account button. This action is irreversible and will instantly destroy your stats, your ELO, and your link with Discord.

4. Cookies

We only use strictly necessary session cookies to keep you logged into your account. These cookies have a lifespan of one year and are not used for advertising tracking.
